Dardove

- I don't like that they made Kep1er read articles where people were trashing them. The whole segment felt more like Mnet was trying to justify to the audience putting their own group on the show rather than reassuring the group that they belonged. - All of the music shows did away with audiences, and only have been slowly adding them back in. I know one of the shows will add audiences back next week. - So seems there is a tradition in Korea (I think it might largely be with younger people) where the first song you listen to in the year will be how the year will go for you. So because of that "As You Wish" has become a goto song for its hopeful lyrics to make the year as the listener wishes it to and therefore hits #1 on the live chart each year on January 1st. - I had a feeling that "As You Wish" would be where they would go with their first song. It makes the most sense. Other than it, another good song for them to start with would have been "Dreams Come True" since they already used "Secret" and "Save Me, Save You" for their intro stage. - The first time I watched the WJSN performance, I spent the entire time looking for the red half of the hourglass and worrying that something was going to happen with it since it was right in front. Seola did end up kicking it around. The sand and glass from the blue half were a bigger problem since again, it was in the focal area of the performance (like right where Exy was getting down on her knees). They made some minor mistakes like Seola timing getting off and running into Yeonjung and Dayoung nearly slipping right before the dance break. Despite all that, they did an amazing job and most people didn't even notice. - WJSN has some really strong vocalists. First, you have Yeonjung who killed it on Produce 101 and was the main vocalist of IOI. She is also currently performing in a musical while doing Queendom. She is the one with the high note that you noticed. Soobin and Dawon (though you won't be seeing her here) are no slouchers themselves and share the title of main vocalist with Yeonjung. - It was certainly sad that Seola, Exy, and Eunseo were all blaming themselves for the issue when it wasn't any of their fault.

I thought that it was mean to do that to Kep1er, I didn't see why they did it, seemingly only to make them doubt themselves. The hourglass with wjsn was unfortunate, but they stage was great, I noticed a lil sliding and they talked about it being slippery. I think it's sad that they are so hard on themselves, but that's also how we get these epic performances. I do like how they are trying to make the hourglass thing a beginning to a new storyline for them, it's nice to lean into it. All in all, so far I love the attitude of all the members and all the groups. They all have hardships and problems, but they usually try to rise above and do their best.

So the whole storyline with the hourglass is that it represents good (blue side) and evil (red side). So the backup dancers turn it to the evil side, and then at the end, Exy is supposed to turn it back to good, which frees Seola (which is why all of the backup dancers drop to the ground at the end, and then the focus is on WJSN for the rest of the performance). It is interesting that the "good" side was the side that broke.
