- Shazam tells me the song is Say Yes by Loco and Punch, so you got it right. - So the poem is written in what I assume is Hangja rather than Hangul (which is largely what is used now) since Hangul didn't come until later. Hence her having difficulty reading it (and then later writing it). - Part of the reason for the creation and use of Hangul was to increase literacy since it is a lot easier to be taught and understood. - Hangja is similar to the Chinese writing system and Hangul was something completely different. - Is that an emoji? When I saw the big strokes, I figured it was going to just be one character she remembered.

I looked it up to confirm it was Punch as well lol - oh ok, I didn't know that Korea changed writing systems at one point.. I thought maybe it was just a lot of words we don't use anymore, kinda someone reading original Shakespeare now - it's fun to think about all these things that would be catapulted ahead today if introduced a thousand years ago like the emoji or soap industry
