Okay, so trying to write The Apocalypse Survival Chronicle of a Magical Girl Mecha Pilot has been a bit of a failure. I made progress, but haven't actually managed to write anything.

So I'm going back to writing  Nightmaerangers and finishing the first major arc before going back to it. That means Red's Arc, Blue's Arc, a final arc or two to round it all out and get it to a good place to end the 'season', so to speak. Then I'll see about going back to TASCMGMP, or moving on to the second season.

However, there's a good chance I won't be able to post the Nightmaerangers next chapter this Sunday,  as I'm getting vaccinated, which... well, not sure what to expect, but 'the worst' sounds about right. So most likely the chapter will be next Sunday.

Also, reminder, there will be no updates on November 1st and most of the later half of December.  From the 20th to January 4th, probably. I'll still put up the monthly Patreon exclusive, and maybe a  Nightmaerangers Chistmas Special...

Well, thanks for sticking with me everyone! You've all been great, when you've commented! I hope to keep providing great content for you all!

PS: Do you guys want me to set up a Discord?

Happy to hear there's more Nightmaerangers down the pipe, even if its a bit of a ways away. Quick question, when you were designing the characters did you make them with powers in mind first? or were the powers added later? or were they inseparable from the start? It's intersting because they have to fit to a theme with the sentai stuff, as well as having different interactions with their powers as internal strife. I'm just curious what the launch point for the rangers were.

Colors first, the powers. Though some personality aspects I wanted to do were already set, like I wanted one (pink) to have a supportive family and relationship who knew all the details, I wanted a pair (green and blue) to be sort of codependent, etc. Yellow was the most fleshed out, since the original prototype story was from thier POV, but I started with Tammy because I wanted to have more developed characters first, and she seemed the most ‘protagonist-y’.
