Dilute shareholder value then buy the btc otc to help hold down price. This strategy provides no benefit to core holding... Makes perfect sense to me

Yagermyster

I'm lost when looking at the red/yellow graph. What is it showing? It's very small and difficult to read, even when I pull it up on a 27" monitor. Is the number of shares required to be a "whole-coiner" rising or diminishing in both short (since ETFs) and long term (2020)?

MSTR is like buying bitcoin that generates something...it generates more bitcoin.

Chris

I sold my MSTR when it hit $1700. Entry price was right around $300. However, I only hand a handful of shares. I used those profits for TSLA.

I’m not understanding. I need to do more work here

Chris

James and IA team, can you please squeeze in a segment on SMLR? You mentioned that they could possibly be a mini MSTR but you didn’t go into depth.

So—🤔 If there are between 235,000-300,000 whole coiners, how many half coiners are there?

Expensive BTC at $114,740.82 (78.3 x $1,465.40 closing price)! MSTR doesn't have a 1:1 relationship with BTC price (like ETF or spot purchases). That said, given lapses in trading (closed markets), neither does ETFs. T+1 is some fuzzy math... I digress. MSTR (price) seems to scale asymmetrically with BTC price, and that volatility re: price action = opportunity.

Just tell me if i'm wrong. During the almost 4 year period (september 2020 untill now), BTC made x5,4 and MSTR's BTC/Share ratio made x 2,9 (total x 15.6) but MSTR price only made x9.2. Sounds bullish to me, even if there's a premium. Also, I suppose the main business is considered in the stock price, and not just the underlying BTCs

onedollaretc

YES, TOO MUCH PREMIUM. WHYY? IT'S SHOULD BE SUB $1000 TO HAVE 1 BTC current price.

Dirk Diggler

I had to do a quick check of how much MSTR I had in my retirement account...54 shares...currently worth right about $80k ....so I'm getting ripped off? could easily buy a Bitcoin for that price instead (except..no I can't because my retirement account won't let me buy pure BTC)

MGM

Yes, mate! The difference is that when BTC price rises, MSTR appreciates at a multiplayer. I am sure You have realised that long ago! 😁

Issue I have... MicroStrategy's annual revenue from company operations, not factoring BTC holdings, is just under 1/2 a billion (USD) but has a market cap of $26B. To answer your question, the impact to stock price is negligible at best. See response to "onedollaretc" just above this post. Financial ju-jitsu or clever variation of reverse ponzi? I have a MSTR bag and have skimmed profits during the ebbs and flows, but the 2x stock price vs. 1 BTC really raised some questions, possibly even altering my thesis re: MSTR investment and future.
