VW are getting desperate. They know they have not executed so dipping their toe in Rivian.

I firmly believe Cybertruck will destroy Rivian Sales (like F150). It is a FAR Superior vehicle despite what the Rivian Bros will say. Plus it looks like a toy.

Rivian still have their Amazon Van business which will keep them afloat for a little while longer.

Bezos' other investment Blue Origin is trying to Ground Space X so they can catch up.
