I just bought more SOL at $141.72 to pay a staff member.

I got some more for myself - small buy compared to yesterday

And I staked it all at Helius

Any feedback on staking SOL on Coinbase? The rate is 5.15% I believe. It seems easy to use a well known entity like Coinbase.

I'M SO CONFUSED. I THOUGHT COINBASE BANNED STAKING/CALIFORNIA STATE? I RESIDE IN CA. HOW CAN I BYPASS THIS LAW? TRANSFER MY SOL TO WALLET I HAVE IN SOLFLARE, AND STAKE IT USING HELIUS? ALL CAN BE DONE IN JUP.AG? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP.

It’s very simple and it will be for sure as safe as any other site or pool you would use. If you do Coinbase One, it’s 6.2% yield. Fast unstake period ( I think 3 days, but don’t quote me on that)

I don't stake with Helius, but I do stake, and earn between 7.00% and 8.5% (depending on the epoch). I've been staking since August 2023 and have earned well over 200 SOL from it. If you're not doing it, you should.

I'm interested to know more about everyone's staking opinion, I got burnt pretty bad with staking nearly everything on FTX. I mainly use Coinbase now. Not the highest returns available, however, at least hey are regulated?? thoughts?

CB takes 33% of your earned staking, they're thieves ! On Kraken exchange, you get 8-10% Bond 3d staking (unstake on 3days) or 3-5% Flexible staking (unstake in 10min)

If I want to spend 6 figures on more Solana and solalts, is it better to break it up among exchanges or do it in on coinbase which is generally now my preferred on ramp in the UK?

No big reason not to get it all via Coinbase if their trading fees are reasonable for you… but make sure to take all you buy off of there and store in a hardware wallet if possible, at least most of it!
