During the Covid lockdowns, I found myself with an abundance of time—time I had never had before to think, reflect, and truly consider what was important in life. It was a rare opportunity, and it led me to a life-changing decision. I chose to sell all my material possessions, downsize, and finally step off the relentless treadmill of the daily grind. I decided to retire, for once and for all and focus on trading my own bag!

That period of introspection during the lockdown was the best time I’ve ever had. Without it, I would have never realized how consumed I was by my work, leaving no room for personal reflection. It became clear how crucial it is for all of us to take time to reflect on our lives, understand what truly matters, and plan our own escape from the matrix.

The valuable lesson:

We all need to pause and reassess our priorities to find our true path.

Well said. I do a lot a reflection lately and making plans for the future. Your help in realizing these plans has been pivotal. I learned more about investing the last two years than the 49 years before that. It made a truly remarkable difference for the future for me and my family. For that James I will be forever grateful ❤️

Amen James! The pandemic also gave me pause enough to quit my 10 years in government, start my own business and build the life of my dreams. It's a work in progress but I am grateful for the challenges, the growth, the opportunity, and the freedom, and I could never go back to being an employee shackled to a desk.

Worrying world over. Authorities are no longer feared or/and respected, they are also somewhat thus powerless and the void between the well offs and those in need has become much greater. All that attached to bad governance has created a kind of boiling pot. Wish you luck my friend. Hope nothing happens to you. I live in a very small area compared and elsewhere in the world and getting old. I started to fear...
