I always talk about blazing my own trail which means never following anybody. I just want to share this quote with the community because it's so important and I'm also calling and that we never want this community to become one echo chamber, but rather a place where ideas come together that we can execute across.

The quote "If you want to make the wrong decision, ask everyone" by Naval Ravikant highlights the pitfalls of group decision-making, particularly in the context of investing. This concept is crucial for several reasons:

  • Avoid Groupthink: Group decisions can suppress critical thinking.

  • Decisiveness: Independent decisions are often more effective.

  • Critical Analysis: Rely on personal research and insights. Why I build unique groundbreaking models eg CC, SCP, Miner Model, Ar Models, TA Tools etc.

  • Risk Management: Individual assessments better identify risks. It is impossible to manage risk collectively.

  • Contrarian Investing: Success often requires going against the majority. I always say I am in the "MOST HATED" assets :D

I am lucky for not having had to ‘blaze my trails’ in the crypto space. I think that would have been truly devastating 555. However, I am proud to be able to say, that I have chosen the right person to listen to for the past three years. Thank you, James, for sharing you knowledge ❤️

I haven't heard jumping into the burning building for a while James. But that jump did happen some time ago now. That hit home for me. Looking for more burning buildings always although whilst keeping my fireman's hat at the ready, I will primarily now be looking to jump out of the burning building if and when the time is right. Preferably when opening the windows doesn't stop the smoke alarm

Thanks James! I have found this to be true with regards to many aspects in life. I would follow people’s advice even when I felt I should go in another direction. I always felt that others would be smarter and that doing what I thought was perhaps a little arrogant. In the last year I have changed to follow my own advice, make my own critical decisions and live my life how I want to. It’s been amazing.

Which of your models can measure Near or Jup against Solana ? Thanks

This is insightful and it just answers a lot of worries we go thru sometimes when you are in this sector where we come across different views. For me, I try to as much get signal from very few that I assess to be brilliant at what they do & then make my decision as I am not an expert. If this means me listening to contrarian views just be able to make sure that I have considered both sides before making my decisions, I don’t hesitate to. Learnt a lot thru IA/James. But like James said, before pressing that final button, it must be your decision after analysing all these signals you get.

100% Agree, i went heavy into proxies last year and tried to convince friends who said it was a bad idea. Happy to say a couple hundred percentage later they've agreed it was a good call 😂

Keep it simple: Ask a half dozen people who have been successful in a certain area for their advice. Consider their views, do your research, and make a decision that best meets your circumstance/goals.

Avoid group think period.
