Ford $F falls over 10% on the day after posting a massive earnings miss.

Ford reported EPS of $0.47 which was a whopping 31% below expectations of $0.68.

Ford also posted $44.0 billion of Automotive revenue, below expectations of $44.8 billion. Warranty issues were the largest contributor to the miss in quarterly earnings per share. Brutal quarter for automakers.

For EV margin is higher than Minus 100% - yes negative 100%.

If they sell something for $50K - they lose more.

Meanwhile Tesla make 18% Margin [REM WE ARE NOT IN TESLA FOR THE CAR BUSINESS - it is for Energy, Autonomy and Bots - all of which the others do not have)

As I said, GM and FORD are Zombie companies that will survive on servicing their legacy ice cars and commercial trucks. They have no future beyond that.

And by teh way Ford Leadership is far stronger than GM. GM do not share how much they lose per EV but I guarantee you it is worse than Ford.

There’s no shame in supporting their products aftermarket , it’s better than manufacturing sub-par products, but of course, we’re not here to be honorable, we’re here to squeeze every drop of profit out of our fellows.

If small entrepreneurs could franchise charging stations, then we don’t need the government to build them and local communities would be uplifted with new businesses. Other businesses could develop to service them. Win/win

Hey guys, just for information purposes: How would invest quite a substantial amount of money, if you‘d like to give yourself the best chance to make 1.5x on it over the next lets say 6-18 months? Not that time dependent though and with moderate risk.
