I saw a pregnant woman yesterday, which made me realize how rare that sight has become. I used to see them all the time, but I can't even remember the last time before yesterday. It's been that long. PS I dont get out much.

I wonder if a high birthrate and population growth will still automatically equal a successful society and economy after the revolution in robotics and AI has plateaued. The main reasons in the past to have a growing population was for production and protection. If robots do most of the farming and industry, and killer robots/drones do most of the protecting, will any modernized economy or country need immigration of any kind? Look at Singapore, for example. They only accept a trickle of highly qualified immigrants. Why would they do otherwise? Imagine the rest of the first world reaching that level of security. Only a Marxist, who still wants that moronic "revolution" (which always devolves into a tyrant class), would still call for any disruption from outside.

When we were in Korea couple year ago on holiday i think we seen like 2 pregnant women, that is mad considering the population of korea! We had our 2 year old with us, and soo many people coming over to play with him - i think they dont see many young children/ babies much any more. Or maybe because we were wearing t shirts in -20deg c temp lol

Come to pa a lot of pregos here. My across neighbor just had her third popping them like pills. I guess is where you live but every time I look 👀 there goes another prego. I had but I had two high risk pregnancies. I have one grandchild and I’m helping them because everything is so much expensive than in my time. I think we just go in cycles mother natures has it’s way of working out. Maybe the earth needs less humans to heal its scars
