As an investor, I'm actually quite worried about the political risk surrounding Elon. I'm willing to place a big bet that the majority of Tesla buyers are Democrats. If you spend anytime researching where most Teslas are sold in the US, it's California. It's not even close. I'm willing to bet also that this trend is international. It should concern us all that Elon doesn't give a monkeys about this.

I saw a post today about uber being a "cash flow machine" with them having more cash on hand quarter after quarter. This would be a good thing for tesla and robotaxi yes? I would think tesla will eat into ubers market share once these robo taxis are operational and generating revenue. Anyone with thoughts on this?

Interesting point - also falls in line that Elon has shifted right significantly in the past 2-3 years

For what they're getting paid, financial analysts should be doing this work, but they don't.

You mentioned I think owning 193 Tesla shares to retire by 2030. I thought the retire was 100 shares?

One of the 'big name' stock recommendation companies included these words in one of their releases today: 'The AV market is indeed going to be huge. But it's not car companies that will capture it... It's AI companies. Having taken the lead in electric vehicles, Tesla looks to be an also-ran in AVs, pushed aside by the true AI advantage of Google's Waymo.' While perspectives like this prevail it may delay stock price appreciation imho....

I used to like Elon, but now i realize i was fooled. He is great at media manipulation like Trump, but the power we have given them through the ability to spread disinformation is the greatest threat to our country and beyond. There needs to be a well organized divestment campaign . I wonder what power individual share holders might also have. It's time to take this issue as a priority

Can you comment on the recent data from Troy Teslike. Sales are trending down this year and he seems to think it is due in large part to Elon's political statements. Is this a serious risk and should we be hedging now? https://x.com/TroyTeslike/status/1822556784147542335
