I am using part of the gains from my last Perp.

There are tensions in Jordan and UKR which I think are dragging crypto down. A nuclear plant in Russian occupied, Ukraine is on fire. Apparently somebody bombed it. We don't know if the Ukrainians did or the Russians did, but it's the cooling system not the reactor either way. It's still very risky so be careful out there. This is a little trade and I am playing with the tables money not my money.

I entered SOL Perp 3.3x at 143.61 on JUP

Using both PTOS and Confluence Model on the 1 hr and 15 min

If we go to 130's I will double down on the perp like I do.

The liquidation price is $99.91

My biggest bag is SOL. I’d sure like to see it go down. :). If it gets down around 130 again, I may have to buy more SOL instead of BTC. Down please!

Hi mate, So you’ll have an opening fee at a set cost, borrowing rate, & then borrow fees due at that rate that grows the longer the trade is on. Keep to James’ suggestion of 3-3.3% leverage. I’m very new to perp trading (this year I started) and was very successful, fucked of the fundamentals and over leveraged myself and lost a lot of my bag in this recent big pull back.. so no matter how good you think you’re doing, don’t go all in, keep leverage low as you never know what’s around the corner, even when it seams like it will all be up from where you are, all it takes is a wick down and your fuc*ed. Long is obviously betting it goes up and short is betting it goes down. Keep an eye on your liquidation price, you can add collateral to your position if you think you need to lower your liquidation price. Don’t fomo in when you see it going up, chances are you’ll open a position and it will go down.. (like I’ve literally just done last night☠️) Make sure you keep an eye on the btc chart because what that does dictates what sol will do. Good luck, don’t fu*k it up 🤣

Can someone please explain what a liquidation price? Is this lowest it will go? Like worst case of sell off?

Joz

If the market price gets below your liquidation price (whatever that is depending on the purchase price) you'll loose whatever you've staked. Hope that makes sense lol

Thanks James! I have been following you for a few years now and usually trade Spot using the ATR Model. This is my first nibble on a perp trade. Thanks for sharing!
