30.7% of the total Bitcoin supply has remained untouched for over 5 years. Over 6M BTC.

It is safe to assume a large part of this is lost forever

During the 2017 bull run, I was at work and I was talking with someone about bitcoin. I think at the time the price was around 11,000 anyway this guy overheard us talking and was like oh I bought some bitcoin a couple of years ago, I put $1000 into it. we did the calculation and we figured out he had about 200 K worth and he flipped out and said he was gonna look for the hard drive that night. The next day at work, he said he couldn’t access it because he forgot the password and was working on it.

That same hard drive probably has over $1 million on it at these prices. I doubt he ever got his bitcoin back.

The moment BTC got close to 50MA, the whole long Leverage hunting started again! For anyone listening closely, you would find out that all of the sudden during the last month or so, the predictions about BTC ATH price has significantly dropped from quarter or half Million to about $100 000 or there abouts. What an interesting drop down despite all that was supposedly going for BTC.... 😂😁

How much BTC do you think is lost now?

The price will go up. Just be patient it is not a get rich in a year or two scheme. Think long term 5 to 8 years and you will see payoffs. People know this, that is why many wallets have not moved in years.
