Urgent Crypto Alert: North Korean Hackers Targeting Your Assets

Seems like not a day goes by when I'm not doing a security warning

The FBI has issued a critical warning about North Korean hackers aggressively targeting the crypto industry, including Bitcoin ETF issuers.

Key Elements:

• Sophisticated social engineering attacks on crypto firm employees

• Potential malware deployment to steal digital assets

• Extensive research on crypto ETF-related targets

• Complex schemes using fake job offers and investment opportunities

• Even cybersecurity-savvy individuals at risk

Protect yourself:

• Be extremely cautious of unsolicited contacts, job offers, or investment proposals

• Avoid executing unknown code or downloading suspicious applications

• Implement strong identity verification methods

• Use multi-factor authentication for financial transactions

• Report any suspicious activity to the FBI immediately

Stay vigilant and safeguard your crypto holdings. The threat is real and evolving.

Make the best from every situation. That is, your job as a invester. Remain calm when everyone else is loosing their head. Never react, think then act.

Never, ever doubt FBI! They are keeping you safe and have your wellbeing as a priority at all times! They are not political and never have an agenda. Stellar reputation since the day of its creation! 😁

But the ETFs are outsmarting the hackers by dumping all their Bitcoin before they can steal it

A strange tought - who would benefit from spreading this warning, regardless of being true or not? It is not like it will boosts the price of BTC. Is it a way to scare the retail into trusting uncle Finkster with guarding there hard earned BTC? Or to hit the price even more? Lots of possibilities... 😂

There’s always been a risk from cyber attacks. The only reason the government/FBI would put out a warning is if they were planning something themselves. Eg. New rules/regulations to steal your freedom under the guise that they’re protecting you.

Agree. Something amiss here. This 'alert' was not from the typically good agents down in the trenchs. This was okayed by the top, which I no longer trust with what has been exposed over the last few years. This is a pre-stage for 'non-favorable' regulations, or worse, justified under the premiss that the government is here to take care of us!

It’s refreshing to see so many people at the least questioning state announcements. Trust no one. Especially damn governments

Who has all the backdoors? Certainly not the N Korean govt. If you're still uncertain, ask Zuckerberg. Better keep your keys off your phone.

This is decades old, but still funny: "Operator, give me the FBI." Operator: "Speak up honey, they will hear you alright"
