Current PERP Situation Analysis

1. The investment is currently underwater (losing money).

2. Option 1: Sell and Take Loss

   - Sell the current position

   - Accept the loss

   - Wait for a better entry point

3. Option 2: Double Down

   - Wait for a capitulation wick (a sharp downward price movement followed by a quick recovery)

   - Have SOL (Solana) ready to invest more when this wick occurs

4. Exit Strategy

   - Waiting for a potential price bump during the Breakpoint conference to exit the perpetual futures position (Perp)

## Performance Review

- The first 5 perpetual futures trades were profitable

- The current trade is not performing well so far - my position size is 0.00588 of my SOL BAG

- This position is half the size of the previous one, allowing room for doubling down or increasing position size if prices fall further

## Risk Management

- Rule Violation: Aware of breaking the personal rule of not holding positions for longer than 30 days

## Market Observation

- SOLBTC pair remains strong, indicating that SOL is not declining as rapidly as BTC

Sol at @$80 ohh i wish. Dec2023 was last time this low. We have had a lot more investers since then, ETF have bought more investers into the market.

I stick to my strategy: bags are packed, ignore everything and come back mid end October. It’s so precisely as I figured and CTO said: when the last hope is gone and all are shaken out, then those 10 special days will come.

I saw on X jems mentioned sol is back..in the chart showing red arrow sell signals? What does means?

Only 0.005 % of the bag in the Perp? Wow, that's a solid approach

Emotions. Psychology. This is why trading is difficult. It is one of the most difficult skills to perform successfully and consistently. Why roughly 90% of traders fail. Remove yourself from your position and attempt to look at it as though you are a risk manager for hedge firm ABC and you have an employee/trader who is performing your very same trade. You have a responsibility to the firm to retain capital. So when do you approach the employee and talk to them about their losing trade? (your trade) If they don't cut off the trade, then you have a responsibility to do it yourself at some point. At what point? What is the pain threshold? What is your pain threshold? Learn how to lose. The best losers WIN in this game. There's even a book about it. I believe it's called The Best Loser Wins by Tom Hougaard. It's a very difficult thing to do, much easier said than done.
