That is because, the government is bullying people into using electric cars. Same strategy used in USA, EU, etc...

I agree EVs are the future, but we should still have the option to buy an ICE car if we want. That's not the case in the UK and Europe. From 2030 they are banning the selling of new ICE cars. EVs in my country cost at least twice the price of a comparible ICE car and the insurance is way more expensive as well.

What you fail to realize, it that nobody wants EVs... or at least that's what I hear on the playground. Also the ice cream truck is playing anti EV music and promoting ICE trucks and SUVs... surely the ice cream truck wouldn't gaslight the population.

Only question i have here is are these cars actually on the road I remember seeing fields of abandoned EV's not too long ago as there was some sort of fraud between manufacturers and the government with companies gaming the system to harvest grants and hand outs for producing EV's?

EV is a boondoggle. Can’t beat 5 minute fillups and 500 mile range. Oil and gas are made in the mantle of earth and have endless supplies

I like EV's, we have one and also one 4x4. The problem is EV's cant yet do everything ICE 4x4's can like crossing small rivers for example. Here in Iceland they're going to ban importing new ICE cars by 2030 and some moron suggested to make it 2028. Some people have hobbies that require a little off roading occationally, not everybody dreams to be a passenger of a robot car going from a to b.
