Hey Team

I wanted to address some confusion regarding the recent miner model update. I regularly update these models, and this was not an endorsement to purchase any miners. I was simply sharing the updated data on hash rates and rankings.

It's important to note that miners tend to issue a lot of shares, aka dilution, which can be detrimental. The ideal time to invest heavily in miners is during a bear market, not when we're more than halfway through the bull market cycle.

For context, I identified the winning miner over two years ago. Most of my position is effectively a credit at nearly $5 because I strategically sold calls and hedged at the right times after initiating a synthetic long position at $2.50. I want to emphasize that I'm not endorsing buying right now.

Additionally, I've noticed that some people are becoming desperate to achieve 4x or 10x returns. Remember, these opportunities are challenging to find unless you employ options strategies, so please exercise caution.

As we are more than halfway through the market cycle, it's crucial to adopt a conservative approach compared to the aggressive strategies used during a bear market. My current focus is on reliable investments that can potentially double or triple, rather than high-risk ventures that might offer three or four times returns.

I hope this update clarifies my stance. While this may not be the most uplifting news, it's essential to adjust our strategies according to market cycles. Again, as I always say billions are made in the bear not halfway through the ball or most of the alpha has been achieved. That doesn’t mean give up hope but take the time to learn study identify assets and think about positions and also think about profit,. Stay cautious out there

I disagree with the use of "half way through the bull market". In terms of time? YES. But BTC will likely do one of three things. Either parabolic move which will be more than double from here, or it will change it's stripes and have an elongated cycle which would almost certainly mean extension of adoption and likely a much further run than the regular cycle move. The third possibility would be that it could peter out completely, which I find most difficult to see happening given the continued growth in adoption that we are already seeing. Big money isn't clambering to shake us all out for the fun of it.

Plus, the implication for the last 6 months has been that the very best and really parabolic was about to come!

We need BTC to breakout again, and hopefully that'll make them pop. The big players have been heavily shorted, while others like BTBT, HUT, WULF have been performing well stock wise. Doesn't seem to matter that CLSK is the number 1 miner, as far as the stock goes. Could be fear of dilution?

James you were saying $15 was a good entry for CLSK a few months ago, and $10 more recently. That is what caused “confusion”, don’t try to twist it back by saying you had a low cost basis and updating the miner model is what caused confusion. NFA of course, and my cost basis is ~$8 btw so this isn’t just me being a bag holder.

The miners are dynamic so trading them is also dynamic. What was cheap a month ago may now be expensive. I doubled my positions in CLSK & MARA yesterday with the goal of lowering my Cost average for what i hope will be a fall run hoping to hit 20 on CLSK and 27 on MARA. I will be trimming back my positions as we get closer to the election when i will also readjust my strategy. When trading their is no room for blame other than for the one who makes the trade especially when it was clearly stated that the miners are a cutthroat business GL2ALL Miike

I'm looking beyond Bitcoin Mining for companies like CIFR and IREN. Hyperscalers and DC's.

So if CLSK announced the share dilution this summer and the stock dropped, but they have not actually diluted the shares yet. does this mean the share dilution is priced in, so if they actually proceed would the current price be unaffected?

IMO..seems like the play w/ CLSK was to buy and sell against the volatility. Sell at 20...buy back in cheaper. Right now I'm wondering if the right strategy is go with the faster horse strategy...rather than hold and hope for $20 again.

I wish James spends less his time giving us every day new and sometimes useless information and more interact in this group answering people's questions and co concerns, that he barely does....otherwise we are getting behind in making right choices that need to be addressed Now, not next year(just my opinion)
