TREZOR SCAMMER WARNING (Patreon)
Content
We get these stories all the time, and they are truly heartbreaking. I do weekly security warnings and it's never enough, but this case is yet another of a very sophisticated scam. Remember, they pray on your emotions they pray on your fears and they are professional, and they are getting better. Here's a list of what not to do and the story below. I pray for our valued member!
This is a critical warning about sophisticated scams targeting Trezor users. Please be aware of the following:
Scam Tactics
Phone Impersonation: Scammers may pose as law enforcement or Trezor support, claiming your account is compromised.
Fake Websites: They direct victims to convincing but fraudulent Trezor help pages.
Seed Phrase Theft: The ultimate goal is to trick you into entering your seed phrase on a malicious site.
Protect Yourself
Never share your seed phrase online or over the phone.
Only use the official Trezor Suite application from trezor.io.
Trezor will never call you about account activity.
Verify all communications through official Trezor channels.
Be extremely cautious of unsolicited contact regarding your crypto.
I do not answer my phone ever! I do not even look at email.
If You Suspect a Scam
Do not interact with suspicious callers or websites.
Contact Trezor support directly through their official website.
If you've entered your seed phrase anywhere, immediately transfer funds to a new wallet.
Remember, your seed phrase is the key to your funds. Protect it at all costs and never enter it anywhere except on your physical Trezor device

"Well Ive had better days. I just got scammed out of my BTC held on my TREZOR devices.
Here is how they did it. I'm tech savvy and paranoid about security. I got a phone call from the police today 2pm saying I was involved in a Data breach. they had some log in details and a password. I have no idea how they got this as I Norton and don't use suspect sites. I said I'd check when I got back. My trezor suite showed all zero balances. they were full yesterday. I installed the latest version of Trezor suite tonight. I was just gonna check my accounts when I got a phone call from Trezor saying there was suspicious activity and they had blocked a transaction for 24 hours. I needed to check my Trezor device. They directed me to the trezor help home page. I checked my Trezor on the link and it showed an error message. I should use the link on their home page and re-load the wallet from the seed phrase. I did. all seemed ok. The Trezor help page is a scam. yes, I was hacked for a data breach somehow, but they must still not have been able to get the BTC. The second part of the scam is to get you to check the seed phrase several hours later. I was tricked.
I'm very IT aware. Just lost my retirement and BTC I had earmarked for my son. "
