The vibe I got yesterday from wall street people who were not invited to the event only wanted numbers. And the day traders wanted a sell the news event to make some quick money on Friday. And Monday they will all look at different stock and talk about different companies and move on from Tesla. But….. all the people who were at the event seem to have been blown away. Part of this was the actually experience of seeing new things with your own eyes. It’s inspiring and provokes emotion. Wall Street is much like OTC Larssen when they want confirmation before jumping in. Retail sees the potential and is willing to wait a while for a larger opportunity. So as I watch more influencer media talk about their impressions from being at the even or watching it live as most of us did, I think we see the future. Robots that interacted in a public setting with people, walking, talking, answering questions, interacting. Have we seen anything like this before? A Robovan that basically replaces buses, delivery vehicles and has more commercial applications than I can imaging. I have already had conversations that in less than 5 years that almost every company would want at least one to try. Think of a warehouse worker that has a one time cost less than employing 1 staff member. Who can pick and ship orders all day or night. Fewer errors, only breaks for repairs and charging. This might scare some proper but what do you think a forklift does, a delivery truck, a conveyor belt, a crane, an elevator, a plane, or anything we have invented to leverage our efforts. There will always be jobs, they will just adjust to what is needed in the future. We still have farmers, even with combines and sprayers and tractors. Those people who left agriculture probably helped other industries advance. I think Tesla did the right thing, they continue to shed the non believers and help the retail investors buy and in more. Wall Street will just fall further behind in the opportunity and guess what, everyone is happy. Retail is happy to be here and Wall Street is happy to wait and see. Win-win.

Although I have not seen anything that definitely confirms this, but I think they were partially being remote operated. However, they also, were still able to perform all of the tasks like walking, serving drinks, dancing, etc, which is very cool. They are the future of Tesla, along with energy. The cars will soon become a small portion of their actual business. That is ultimately Elon's vision: much less cars on the road.

Kind of bummed they didn’t have David Hasselhoff there. For all those that remember Knight Rider.

Thanks for posting James, awesome

Any chance you could do some comparisons of the self driving options? Lots of FUD this last week about how other companies are already ahead and how China already has self driving busses ect.

Thanks for the footage James!

Apparently all robots were remotely controlled by human.

yessir! Pretty shocking that elon tried to pull this off. they just cant seem to get past making a battery stage in anything

I admire Tesla’s thoroughness. Robots cleaning the car interior and particularly the touch screen is critical for health & safety for its customers. Imagine a future pandemic scenario when very few people own their own car!
