JUST IN : Bitcoin $BTC will become as big as the entire U.S. Housing Market says BlackRock $BLK CEO Larry Fink. For reference, Bitcoin's market size is currently $1.3 Trillion while the U.S. Housing Market is north of $50 Trillion.

This means a $3.25M Bitcoin....

No reference as to time frame.

I don't know if this is a joke or what, but how anyone could ever say with a straight face that BTC will be equal in value to the US housing market is beyond me. Trump level stupid

This seems like a bit of an empty criticism, without a clear rebuttal as to why it can't happen. Why is it stupid? What if we see a massive adoption of bitcoin as a world reserve store of value? Blackrock owns massive amounts of rental properties, maybe they see something coming in terms of regulation because young people can no longer buy homes and see that a lot of real-estate sits empty. Michael Saylor has predicted bitcoin at 10M by 2040 (a much higher valuation); he may be completely wrong, but he's certainly not stupid and has laid out an argument for his position. Larry Fink is also, clearly, not stupid. So, is he just pumping crypto, or does he see a bigger picture?
