• Total US debt has reached a record $35.8 trillion, shot up by $473 billion in just 3 weeks.

• There is now $103,700 of debt per every American man woman and child.

• The last 3-week increase added $1,450 of new debt to every US citizen.

• In 2024, the US paid $1.16 trillion in interest on the national debt.

• This translates to $3,360 in interest payments per American for fiscal year 2024 and this will grow very fast as debt refinances to a higher coupon.
