JUST IN: VanEck predicts #Bitcoin will be worth $3 million and used as a global reserve asset by 2050.

Their model assumes that BTC will be used in global trade at 2% weight and arrive at $3M - only a 16% CAGR for 2.5 decades.

I believe this is a base case. 16% CAGR is barely beating inflation so I like the odds !! By then I’ll be ready to sail around the world! LFG..😎👍⛵️🌅

Compounding effect of mass adoption will be huge.. Scarcity wins. A massive trigger awaits at some point.

In reality...that's 20 plus years from now..most of us will either be dead or too old to make use of it...we would just be passing this onto our next generation...give me 300,000 by next year and i can cash out a bit... honestly we need to break all time highs of 70K and get past 100K before we can predict 3 million....nice dream though...

Why set your goals so far into the future? I don't mean aiming for tomorrow, but that is any extremely longterm horizon, so that his prediction as a banker could 'safely' be deemed right in the history books.
