I had put a limit order in this morning during DCA as I did not want to miss the trade.

I felt during the DCA stream SOL was going to pump and I wanted to exit at 25% Profit

As it turns out I forgot I left it in. TP Price was 179.49

It just hit - I exited the 10th Perp at a 25% profit - same method 20-50% every few days.

Rem the PERP gets exited back into SOL

I will reenter again on Weakness. This was my largest every PERP in terms of SOL as I doubled down...

Exited with over 30% Profit! Thank you James!

Hey James, I’m curious about the real profit figures for your SOL perps. When you post 20-25% gains, is that percentage the actual take-home after converting back to SOL, or does the buy-back into SOL reduce it significantly? For instance, if SOL’s price rises during the trade, wouldn’t that cut into the actual profit when you re-enter SOL? Could you clarify the net gains after these conversions? Thanks!

i pretty much mirrored this trade and been profitable on all my sol perps the past 2 months. 🙏

My strategy: Not exiting!! I entered at 151 and going to do like Mary Party, let it run at least until it hits 300-350 and think about it then and then as I did not put a TP. When the time comes I'll see the strengh of the market and how SOL is doing and if I feel it had its run I'll exit. On the other hand, if I feel it can go further like many say it can pass the 500 mark, then I'll hold a bit longer. Most important is to keep in on LP, which really hard to get there again. The fees are not even an issue when u can make insane gains by holding longer. Let's see how far can SOL go this cycle. 😊🙏🏼

I keep on getting a ‘failed to perform transaction’ when trying to close, anyone had that before?

ABottleOfRed

Thanks James. I exited the perp at 182.20 with a 33% gain! 🥳

SamuraiCop

James at what levels are you thinking to enter a perp again?

WinstonChurchill

I'm curious, too. I have learned you must reduce by fees AND the original amount you put in = profit. So, Jupiter might say 25% profit but 3.3x perp needs to be reduced by 30%, as that was your collateral and really should not be counted as profit, but cost basis.

Goodboy Blue

Beware you'll be holding a Perp for months and will get eaten by fees. Would take profit earlier. Unless you're in spot then nvm
