From the chart this 222 level was previous resistance and now we hope support can hold. My liquidation levels remain at about $183 (if I recall) so watching this carefully. My SOL from yesterday made it out of Coinbase and I have that in reserve in case I get close to a liquidation level.

This 16th perp position in Solana has been a pain in the butt, and I had a premonition about it from the start. To break even, I need SOL to rise above $252. It's frustrating to see other less established cryptocurrencies pumping, which are taking oxygen away from Solana. I have to weather this storm.

As a reminder, my perp position is only 0.3% of my MicroStrategy (MSTR) position, highlighting the importance of proper allocation. I advise against investing more than 1% of your Solana holdings into perps. For perspective, MSTR often fluctuates by 7% daily, which puts the perp position's volatility into context.

First few days of the month in Crypto are always unsteady... but outlook remains positive per my posts from this morning.

Just paid a $58 fee to edit my collateral on a sol perp, didn't realise the cost until it went through. Be careful guys

Small V shape recovery on Sol. Let’s hope this is a sign of strength!

The fees have me looking at alternatives. No, they have me changing my plan, actually. All good. They have their place in my strategy. I mostly use perps for very short term trades on the lower timeframes.

Know when to hold em, know when to fold em. Different for all of us. Exited this puppy moons ago. Using a different platform for longer term/swing trades. Those fees sook. The experience helped inform my overall strategy. Win-win. Having those DEX trades open too long is not worth the emotional fatigue it can cause me. One reason I exited (among many). I wish you all the best! Be careful. Take note of YOUR access to liquidity and ask yourself if these trades make sense for you. I’ll go out on a limb here and guess that James’ access to liquidity is FAR different than most of ours. Scale appropriately. Beware of greed/euphoria/Fear. Be aware of them, take note, and remind yourself to remain objective. Emotions are some of our “best indicators”. Only if we are fully aware of them and their implications. Otherwise, they can be our wort enemies. Awareness FTW.

My liquidation level is 170. I feel pretty good about that.

The shit coins always get FOMO'd at some point in every bull run. Feather coin had no use (didn't do anything better or new) and it still pumped in the early days... I got rid of my XRP and a couple other crap coins and got a few SOL at pretty much the low point here. The real tokens will survive when the FOMO is over.

Awareness FTW. Nurture it like it’s the only plant left on Earth, and Monsanto just pulled up in a black van with a briefcase full of lawsuits. Stay vigilant. Always.

That head & shoulders pattern has a price target of just over $200. Hope I'm wrong. I'm still in my SOL perp from about $240 bc I think it will recover afterwards.
