I want to see Micheal Saylor back in his black shirt

Gulden’s left boot

Wouldn’t it make more sense to distribute it to charities or low net worth individuals?

ReallyCapricious

James showed his Bada$$ side last night 👏🏽

HarryK

Yes, Saylor definitely only means his Bitcoin, which is about 17500 not MSTR which is a company.

Bell

Saylor is basically acting like a Government printing money to buy Bitcoin. We get to ride along… Enjoy!!!

Z G

Saylor doesn't own but a small fraction to mstr

Mellow Bag

If he destroys his keys, MSTR will plummet. His BTC will be a forever inaccessible asset. What value is that to investors?

Dodecagon144

I believe he is referring to the 17K + BTC that he personally owns and custodies.

Quandry

Yes, but what Saylor is proposing is a fair way amongst all Bitcoin holders. If charities buy BTC now they would also benefit. Wealth cannot be shared, only made or destroyed.

This action would actually help drive demand by limiting supply! Selfless act

Nik

Seems like he could set up to sell 5-10% a year, which would be forever based on the increase in value. Give it to a worthwhile cause like helping the very poor. Burning his BTC would help the richest holders more than the average holder. IMO.

Ultimate act of charity is to die with your keys.
