The chart suggests that currently, or in the near future, asset prices might be rising at a rate that could be considered ahead of the actual increase in global liquidity. This could imply that markets are either very optimistic about future liquidity or growth, or it could be a warning sign of overvaluation if liquidity does not catch up.

It could also mean, we could be heading into exponential times w AI.... or an urgent need for things like Gold and Bitcoin, or increase in asset values like Disruptive Stocks and Real Estate as interest rates fall.

Are you certain about a soft landing and no recession in 2025? In the last decades, we had strong market corrections between 6 and 12 months after the first one of a series of rate cuts.

Could someone explain global liquidity for me? Is it money supply? And if it goes down, where is the money going?

Paul Khazansky

The chart is from Michael Howell, who is considered an expert on liquidity and macroeconomic conditions. The interesting thing about the chart is that presently there is a MAJOR drop off in liquidity, and thus we can anticipate a pullback in the next 60 days. I hope the dollar will continue to soften and we’ll see a spike in liquidity rather soon, causing equities and crypto to rally into H1 2025.

It’s viewed as the money in excess of the required amount of capital to service global GDP and hence much of which ends up in capital markets

What goes up will eventually come down; not all the way down mind you …

The gap is quite large atm, the market won't go up without global liquidity increasing so we could be in for a dip either here or in a month - inauguration is one such sell the news event perhaps...

I've had a property on the market; getting smashed by rising insurance and hoa. This post almost makes me want to hold it.

Its so difficult to navigate the FUD about markets crashing in 2025 and square it with the $6 trillion on the sidelines and falling rates.
