As we warned for quite some time

1) job market data is BULL SHIT

2) Jerome Powell says all is fine. Also bullshit.

The US labor market is showing significant signs of deterioration, with several key indicators pointing to a weakening employment landscape:

  • job postings have plummeted 38% compared to last year, reaching their lowest point since August 2020

  • total job postings have experienced a continuous decline over 3 years, with a 49% drop from the February 2022 peak

Current job vacancies are now 5% lower than pre-pandemic levels - yikes.

NAME CHANGE NEEDED

The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) needs to change their name to Bureau of BS

Bro, things are hard for us all. Despite me having a job I worry everyday that things can change,

How terrible to be unemployed and dealing with today’s grocery prices. From what I understand most people in the U.S. don’t have savings.

1) Folks tend to underestimate how much Americans have saved. This happens bc they don’t count what one has saved “not in the system”. 2) you are never poor if you have a good family. That’s just my take.

James, this eventually will lead to a recession (employment is always the last leading indicator from what I've learned), so I'm anticipating a drop in all asset prices (gold, BTC, MSTR, TSLA...), but should we anticipate a faster recover for these assets over the general markets?

.25 or .50 rate cut coming james?

My company fired 5% of the workforce and it’s at least 20%. I made it through but I have a skill others don’t have or I’d be out. I’m in a lot better place than I was 4 years ago after stumbling across IA videos during covid. On track to retire early and get out of all the BS.

I think statistics out of China are more realistic.

Biden and Co put out fake jobs numbers (consistently later revised down) and fake inflation numbers (tailoring what they counted) the whole time. :/
