Big Lots going out of business sale, if you need some items good deals to be had.

But the real story is the Economy is NOT STRONG. More recession indicators are firing

he Walmart Recession Signal has jumped to the highest level since the 2020 pandemic.

This is a recession indicator measured by Walmart's stock price, $WMT, divided by the S&P Global Luxury Index of luxury goods stocks. The gauge has almost doubled this year, luxury brand sales stall and people go to Walmart as they have far less disposable income.

In previous economic cycles, such a significant divergence signaled a recession was coming.

Man. It’s felt like a recession for 2 years already. I can’t believe they’re still talking about it not have not hit yet. My industry ( entertainment and media NYC) has been brutally bad for many

and yet Costco is opening 6 new stores in early 2025

Wouldn’t a imminent recession mean we should get out of risk assets though? We keep seeing indicators of this and also bullish news on crypto / Tesla / Mstr. Which way are we supposed to go ?

I’m also interested and not sure… historically recessions mean stocks and especially growth stocks drop, so we could either sell or wait out a potentially long recession

Scary times but I think our IA faves TSLA, MSTR, BTC and SOL will be fine

I saw this chart earlier in the day. The strange thing is that even though the blue curve has spiked, the red has plummeted. This is very different from the past when both of them spiked. So - is this still as relevant?

So, James tell us how you would prepare!

AAA predicts holiday travel record as more than 119 million expected to hit roads, skies between Saturday and new years. IMHO Big Lots is going out of business because of the housing market. The housing market is out of whack because of artificially lowering rates during the pandemic. Sub 3% 30 year mortgages have consequences. And this can also be attributed to the inflation side of the equation.

The ongoing China trade war and terrifs are also a big factor to BL demise.

I wish I knew how to bet on those jaws closing. Would probably be an epic trade.

So, crash is coming in. I sold my TSLA bag, ready to step in when the crash is happening. How are you fellows preparing for that event?
