MSFT just woke up to xAI - Hitting Pause on DC (Patreon)

As I've been saying, for a while, I firmly believe xAI will destroy open AI, a.k.a. ChatGPT from microsoft. MSFT just paused their data center.

I am not a fan boy, I am a data driven guy. My reasoning is as follows

• xAI has launched a supercomputer named Colossus with over 100,000 H100 GPUs, with plans to scale up to 200,000 GPUs in the very near future and adding B200s. This scale of computing power provides xAI with a significant 6x edge in training large AI models like their Grok-3 system.

• xAI utilizes advanced proprietary networking solutions which facilitates worlds highest-speed data transfer crucial for AI training across their vast array of 100K+ GPUs. 

• The # of H100s and B100s that xAI now has is insurmountable.
