Many believe marginal personal income tax rate over 50% constitutes theft rather than taxation! When more than half of one's additional earnings are taxed, it's argued that the drive to work harder diminishes significantly because the reward for extra effort is substantially reduced.

I often say money gives you wings, particularly in large amounts, provides freedom and opportunity—often metaphorically described as giving one "wings" to fly, suggesting that high earners, like millionaires, benefit from greater ability to escape high tax regimes.

Many in the UK for example are leaving in droves... for Lisbon, Cyprus, Dubai etc

 US Tax Rates for comparison

 Australia not that bad either

Come see Canada, we're literally being robbed i calculated my tax (payroll+sales+ additional and hidden taxes) i am paying roughly 67% in taxes, The marginal tax rate is 50% Capital gain Tax was marginal rate (50% for most people) with 33% inclusion rate which is 17.5% that has changed in 2024 to 67% inclusion rate so roughly 33% capital gain tax. I didnt include the free healthcare that we have to pay for lol otherwise you just get free consultation, a mandatory 2-4% contribution to retirement.. etc, a mandatory employee insurance fee .. etc And thats why we're seeking financial freedom to exist once and for all.

Use tax and stop income tax fair in my way of thinking.
