So let me get this straight!

Banks can custody Bitcoin with the repeal of SAB 121.

And now…

Blackrock’s Bitcoin ETF is looking to do in-kind redemptions to get Bitcoin back instead of cash?

Banks are going to be competing against Blackrock for people’s Bitcoin and their business!

There are only 21M Bitcoin. Strap in, ladies and gents!

Does anyone think if GBTC ETF will look to do in-kind redemptions in the future or will be merger with other ETF?

It's good news for the BTC supply curve but I'd never trust a 3rd party with my BTC. Deposits of anything at a bank is their property, NOT YOUR PROPERTY!!! Even more pointedly the SECURITIES you think you own are NOT YOUR PROPERTY !!!! The book 'The Great Taking' by ex-Wall St maestro David Rogers Webb explains why and implores you to divest your securities asap (yes, MSTR, TESLA etc) as YOU ARE NOT the Prime creditor when institutional bankruptcies happen. The Central Bankers have already made sure they will be granted the primary creditors LEGALLY IN EVERY JURISDICTION IN THE WORLD through systematic legislation in every territory created over the last couple of decades. Mr Webb has researched this in vast detail very impressively so please please please get this short book and make up your own mind. Personally, I'm convinced it's quite similar to bail-in legislation for banks. Once they go under they take YOUR MONEY/SECURITIES entirely legally & you don't have any legislation on your side.
