I've been moving to cash for a reason for the last three months plus. However, this is not what I had on my bingo card. The whole world is being blindsided by this Chinese AI play - DeepSeek.

TLDR

DeepSeek outperforming ChatGPT and other major players should be a wake-up call.

They surpassed the US AI giants with a fraction of the budget and significantly less computing power.

NVDA down and TSLA down as well as MSFT in After Hours

This is what was found alarming... a firm with 1/100th of the resources was able to match or beat the incumbents

A little upstart threatens to impact not only Nvidia but also the likes of microsoft and others. I always openly proclaimed the fact that open AI and ChatGPT we're going to be murdered one day because they don't have the innovation despite starting this whole ball rolling. I felt ChatGPT would be destroyed by X AI, it is DeepSeek that now threatens the whole US Dominance of AI across the entire stack. This is the power of innovation and open source models. I mentioned a while back on DCA that VCs have no idea where to invest as everything is moving so fast and reinvented every few weeks.

There is talk of DeepSeek also solving SelfDriving FSD from Tesla but no... that is a function of DATA... nobody has the data TSLA has.

Finally - DEEP SEEK is now top of the charts, I tested it real quick and lacks real time data... but what do u expect. Only XAI has that.
