The World Economic Forum's Future of Jobs report reveals that nearly 50% of employers plan to reduce their workforce over the next 5 years due to AI advancements. This trend is driven by the expectation that many roles will become obsolete as AI technology progresses.

The silver lining, however, 51% of employers also intend to shift employees from declining roles to expanding ones, emphasizing the need for workers to upskill.

Be on the right side of this change! Make sure you and your kids are well positioned. More to come around future skillsets required.

You can’t really turn telemarketers into engineers. The jobs that get kept will be highly skilled, decision heavy jobs. Nobody is going to want to go back to school to put themselves in massive debt once the AI layoffs really begin. You just won’t know if your job will exist by the time you’re ready to do it. UBI is the only way.

Some validity to this but WEF social engineering if you ask me. And I say that as professional who is number 15 in top fastest growing list... we need more skilled trademen. Plumbers, welders carpentry, mechanics etc. WEF doesnt mention that....
