Per Reventure, new homes for sale are piling up—9 times more than the monthly sales average, the highest since 2022. Translation: at today’s pace, it’d take 9 months to clear the stack. That’s over DOUBLE the 2020 ratio. Historically, supply this bloated—494,000 new single-family homes, most since the 2008 crash—only hit these levels four other times, three during recessions.

Unfortunately, housing demand is still too high vs inventory. People can't afford to buy a property between 40-50% higher prices prior the pandemic, insurance cost outrages especially in certain states like Tx, FL , Ca and the county taking advantage of increasing Property taxes up to 60%. Also, let's not forget that if you buy a used home get ready for big repairs. Material and labor also have increased by 20 % ++. How do I know all these facts well I researched it and have investors and friends that share their insights with me. Hope is there ....don't give up instead of buy a smaller home or Mobile w/land is more affordable but hurry it won't be for long. ***
