Violence against Tesla will stop (Patreon)

On March 11, 2025, President Trump classified violence against Tesla dealerships as "domestic terrorism" amid a wave of attacks dubbed the "Tesla Takedown." Incidents include Molotov cocktails, gunfire, and arson targeting Tesla facilities and vehicles in states like WA, Colorado and Oregon, linked to backlash against Elon Musk’s role in the Trump administration.

Those people are now in prison and may face up to five years or more in jail.

The designation, based on U.S. law defining terrorism as acts intended to intimidate or coerce, aims to address safety threats to Tesla employees and customers. And some cities and states the police were doing nothing. Now it’s a federal crime and these people will get time in federal prison.
