Kinda felt this was going to happen yesterday. I could sense all the later votes were all no and they were waiting in the wings to shoot this down.

That being said it was still historic it was the biggest governance vote ever in the history of crypto. Over 74% of stake voted across 910 individual validators. This vote is evidence that the network is thriving and fully decentralized.

Onwards and upwards... SOL Inflation is still one of the lowest out there.

Validators vote in the SIMDs but many validators are transparent on how they're voting and can split their vote according to the will of their stakers. Additionally, If a staker is displeased, they can speak with their stake and simply move their stake to another validator. It is in the best interest of the validators to respect the will of their stakers. The validator's open communication, integrity, transparency and performance are key to a successful and sustaining partnership with their stakers. Some, like myself, especially with my LST, digitalSOL, also share the block rewards which are typically earned only by the validators. Hope this helps. Much love as always to James and the IA community. I've never missed a daily video since 2021 and I have much gratitude for how it has impacted my life ❤️

I had no idea about any of this. I assume big stakers, like ETFs, lobby the validators?
