Note GROK 3 was not included and I cannot tell if Grok3 is superior to those below but I am pretty certain over time it will be if not already.

Could be a biased article, but we have many devs in here. Quick note on Why Gemini 2.5 Pro Is Great for Coding:

Coding Tasks

Gemini 2.5 Pro did better in four different coding challenges: building a flight simulator, solving a Rubik’s Cube, simulating a ball bouncing in 4D, and solving a tricky LeetCode problem. It gave correct and working code on the first try in each case.

Scorecard:

  • Flight Simulator: Gemini built a working game with plane movement and a blocky city, like in Minecraft. Claude’s version didn’t work properly—the plane couldn’t be controlled.

  • Rubik’s Cube Solver: Gemini used Three.js to create a working 3D solver. Claude’s version had mistakes—wrong colors and it couldn’t solve the cube.

  • LeetCode Problem: Gemini solved a very hard problem correctly and efficiently. Claude’s solution was too slow and failed.

  • Claude only did as well as Gemini on the easiest task (the 4D ball bounce), showing that Gemini handles harder problems better.

  • Gemini 2.5 Pro Slightly Better Benchmark Score - In a coding test called SWE-Bench, Gemini scored 63.8%, just ahead of Claude’s 62.3%. It’s a small difference but shows Gemini is more reliable for real-world coding.

  • Can Handle Huge Codebases - Gemini can take in up to 1 million tokens (words and symbols), soon increasing to 2 million.

I use grok daily for coding, imo it blows the rest out of the water for the type of code I need to write

Articulation is the new coding. Conveying instructions into meaningful machine understandable prompts is the future. Those who say AI will not replace humans in coding are either, naive, ignorant, afraid or just plain dumb. Basic coding skills will become less valuable as AI takes over grunt work, pushing humans to master higher-level thinking, system design, ethics, or integrating AI outputs into something meaningful. Jobs will I believe focus more on collaboration with AI, tweaking its work, or innovating in ways AI can’t like dreaming up entirely new paradigms. What I am trying to say basically is buy TSLA MSTR SOL and BTC.

Idk man, i used grok and chatgpt to help me with some complex excel formulas and both were fucking retarded. I had to think more to figure out how to get them to fix their mistakes than to figure out the formulas by myself.
