Ok I just have to ask this cause I just can’t figure it out. Is a LOW Nav Premium good, bad or depends? I OWN Mara, but I’m down 10% or so on the stock. So at this point I basically just hold overpriced BTC. Now, If MARA gets bought, are you saying that the buyer would get to pay ZERO for the mining business. Why in the world would MARA do that? Could that sale be forced? I can’t wrap my head around which way to look at the current state of MARA. James chart on NAV PREMIUM shows deep green for Mara but his sentiment seems bearish. I’m lost.

Maybe you are overthinking it a little. The nav premium is the cap of the stock (of the company) divided by the BTC holdings (of the same company. So how much BTC does one get when buying stock in that company. The lower the premium the more BTC you get per purchase of stock. A NAV premium of one means you get the same amount of BTC by buying that stock, as you would by buying BTC directly. Say BTC is at $80,000 per 1 BTC. If you bought 80,000$ of MARA stock and the nav premium was 1.0, you would also effectively have bought 1.0BTC. (so you are getting MARA for free basically). Anyone here, please correct me if I am wrong anywhere. Pretty sure this is all correct though!
