Vitalik Buterin is crafting another new five-year roadmap to address Ethereum's Layer 1 challenges, aiming to simplify its architecture.

However, Ethereum's scaling issues have persisted since 2017, while competitors like Solana will soon process north of 1 million transactions per second (Firedancer), while Ethereum's current throughput is around 15 TPS.

In my view, the blockchain landscape will shift dramatically by 2030, and this timeline is too slow. Solutions were needed by 2023 to stay competitive, not 2030.

Sorry. I have a non-negotiable no shitcoin policy.

Most crypto shit out there is just that, shit. ETH is at least credible competition, it's in no way, by any metric, better better SOL. It did provide and still does, a target for SOL. However little, ETH is still used for legitimate reasons. What current crypto will be around in 5 years? Competition is good, its good for SOL, it's good for BTC, it's good for us. FYI, I do not own any ETH, but I do own SUI, SOL and BTC.
