BEFORE I GO FURTHER _ TESLA IS NOT IMPACTED BY TARIFFS.....

This is telling about the macro situation right now. Ford dealers still have new cars on the lot from 3 years ago.

and then this... Note these earnings come before the impact of tariffs.... so either way they were in HOT FINANCIAL WATER.... the Tariffs just accelerate the demise.

EARNINGS

Ford pull guidance say they could lose 2.5BN or more from the Tariffs.... rem they were in real bad shape anyhow. Stock down in after hours.

Why does James keep saying Tesla is not impacted by Tariffs. Elon came out and said they are impacted by Tariffs. They may not be impacted as much as the legacy automakers, but they are impacted none the less. It came straight from Elon so I tend to think it’s true.

As the economy slows down, adjusting to this trade war (long overdue), all companies will be effected. The point is that Tesla, of all car makers, shall be least effected.
