It was a flurry this morning to do due dilgence on this one... it has some interesting angles and it is why I flipped my $CEP into $ASST

First $CEP lacks transparency.... and it was running out of steam.

Strive has a better team IMHO. It also has an interesting angle. Let me explain

Instead of a SPAC, they are doing a Reverse Merger for Public Listing

STRIVE is becoming a public company by merging with Asset Entities, which is already listed on NASDAQ. This avoids the long and expensive IPO process. Through a special registration, they can quickly raise money and trade shares.

Tax-Free Bitcoin-to-Stock Exchange

You can give Bitcoin to a public company without triggering capital gains taxes... this is what has me most intrigued.

STRIVE is using a U.S. tax rule that lets accredited investors trade their Bitcoin for STRIVE shares without paying capital gains taxes right away. If fully successful, STRIVE would start with 10,000 Bitcoins, making it one of the top 7 companies holding Bitcoin. This will allow them to do things like Buying Undervalued Companies for Cash - think of a BTC Private Equity Firm. STRIVE is looking to buy U.S. companies that are trading below the value of the cash they hold (worth over $30 billion in total). STRIVE will use that cash to buy Bitcoin, making it a self-funding way to grow its Bitcoin reserves.

They have their own new version of Financial Jiu Jitsu

Led by CEO Matt Cole, STRIVE will use financial strategies like options and credit contracts to increase its Bitcoin exposure, reduce risk, and earn returns—without needing to issue more stock.

Like MSTR, they will also push Companies to Adopt Bitcoin

STRIVE will use its ownership and voting rights in other companies to encourage them to hold Bitcoin in their reserves, rather than relying on traditional cash, to protect value.

TEAM

Well the team is solid... Vivek, Anson, PETER THIEL VC master and Bitcoin OG as well as the VP of the USA.

WHAT IS NEXT

  • Finalize the merger

  • Expand fundraising capacity to over $1 billion

  • Launch a platform for tax-free Bitcoin-to-stock exchanges

  • Make first company acquisitions

  • Use fixed income tools to enhance returns

  • Start a global tour to attract institutional investors

Anyone still holding through that rocky dip? My buy in was $7.22 and I managed to hold tight!
