Scam Prevention... new methods from scammers (Patreon)

As crypto prices rise, scammers become more aggressive-sometimes multiple scammers target the same person at once.

Recently, a member was pressured by two scammers at the same time. Thankfully, he protected his assets by moving his funds to his brother - before the scammers could access anything. Genius move!

HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF

• I will NEVER reach out 1 on 1... NEVER! I d all in public.

• Never give your crypto, wallet info, or private keys to anyone-no matter how convincing they seem.

• No legitimate admin or group leader will ever contact esp not COINBASE or Google support etc . They have no customer service. There are literally thousands of scammers calling people everyday pretending they are Coinbase. • Always keep your security tight: use strong, unique passwords, enable two-factor authentication, use a YuBiKey and never click suspicious links.

• If you feel pressured or rushed, stop and take 24 hours to verify-scammers are scammers - they often use urgency to trick you.

• Store most of your funds in a secure, offline (cold) wallet, and keep backup copies of your recovery phrase in a safe place.

• If in doubt, ask trusted sources and again -never respond to private requests for crypto.
