For years, I’ve been warning that many nations are teetering on the edge of bankruptcy, and their pension schemes are unsustainable.

I also said the easy way out for them to avoid paying out is to keep raising the retirement age until it becomes a death sentence for many—pushing people to work until they literally start dying out. Take Denmark, for instance. According to a BBC News report from May 22, 2025, Denmark is set to raise its retirement age to 70, the highest in Europe, for everyone born after December 31, 1970, proving just how far governments will go to sidestep their financial obligations.
