"let James know I was able to buy IBIT ETF via a brokerage account called interactivebrokers.co.uk. I am based in the UK and I bought a small portion of IBIT yesterday. I believe there are certain criteria one has to meet before you are allowed to purchase IBIT shares."

This is not true. I sat the eligibility test and upon successfully passing I was still unable to buy crypto related products due to being in the UK.

The UK’s approach to Crypto is a joke. By preventing us from accessing crypto etf’s that are regulated, they force us into the spot world. For me that’s fine and where i started the journey, but for the average joe, i can see why it would be unappealing. Just further examples of Governments telling us how we can spend OUR hard earned money.
