Why indices suck! Amazon’s Growth vs. QQQ’s Growth:

  • If you had put $1 into Amazon in 1997, it would be $2,742 today. That’s a return of over 274,000%.

  • The same $1 in QQQ would grow to just $10, or about 1,089%.

This is the CAGR delta between 10% and 53%!

  • Amazon CAGR 53.6% per year.

  • QQQ grew only 10.2% per year.

Remember the 3 Golden Rules

  • Remember Indices like QQQ includes slow-growing companies that drag down returns.

  • Remember also - humans have a tough time seeing Exponentiality.... when they are in it!

  • Remember also the importance of getting in early and Holding On!
