Nations vying to lure the Wealthy (Patreon)

My vision from last year was that competition will heat up in nations competing to attract wealthy individuals through incentives like tax breaks and golden visas.

I expect this to ramp up over the next 5 years and it will lead to continued capital flight from let us say unfriendly tax regimes.

Portugal's plan to enhance its Golden Visa program with potential tax incentives reflects this strategy to lure global investors who can contribute economically rather than burden society.

The United States has also explored similar residency-by-investment options, while Switzerland's program offers a comparable model.
