Solar stocks like SolarEdge and First Solar plummeted overnight as the Senate budget bill proposes phasing out solar and wind tax credits by 2028. Note - I have a tiny slither of ENPH - It is 0.000667 of my portfolio. I will harvest the loss when the time is right.

While I’m skeptical of subsidies, this move seems misguided. China dominates the solar industry and heavily subsidizes it, giving them a clear edge. The world is and always has been powered by the free reactor in the sky. Teh Chinese are brilliant at forecasting the future. The West, not so much!

Elon believes in it.

It is free energy... and we need energy and the higher the energy per capita in a country the richer it is. That is all.

RUN DOWN 46%. Many earning on tax ben. Many Red states have incentives that attracted builders on solar installations opportunity and these commitments remain open. I can’t imagine a a large clawback won’t occur and a decent options trade opportunity here.
