Someone explain why tokenization of equities is better than normal shares. I get the speed and fractionalization, but how do you know your token represents a share? Also, how do you know if DeFi platform holds the shares that are tokenized? I understand the issues with brokerages and share ownership. I guess I just don't see much of an advantage of tokenized shares on DeFi platform vs just buying them at your brokerage.

James, how is the price on the traditional exchanges going to be calculated when tokenized equities trade during the weekend ? What will happen at market open on Monday morning?

another downside to consider, you arent insured like you are with stocks in the USA... (SPIC insurance in case your broker goes bust)
