He is normally off base

But for him to come out and say this is alarming.....

As Ive been shouting from the rooftops for years at this stage

"AI will target 'office jobs' first, with white-collar, executive-level administrative roles being the quickest and simplest to automate."

I hate to be a buzzkill but all my life I have believed in Miguel de Cervant3s -

i lived very close to this statue.... very close.... I dont believe in coincidence

Governments will tax every corporate AI agent like an employee in hopes of some revenue

So my boss asked me to lead our AI program at work yesterday. Was quite surprised. I guess that is a good thing. I've been focusing on some AI related certifications and commenting on the business' strategic planning relating. Was planning my exit over the next 18-months when all debt is paid off. Might as well go full wack for 18-months and see what happens!

Embrace AI and become the expert. People will need someone to show them how to use the tool and oversee its implementation. Just a thought.

While I don’t disagree that some jobs will go away, I do know that we need to leverage AI to help back fill the large amount of people retiring. We do not have enough people coming into the workforce to properly backfill. With AI, we can leverage each teammate to be as productive as two or three. I am in the engineering space and we struggle with this every day.

Yeah, because in the engineering space there's near zero mentorship or even a half assed attempt to hire new grads. Instead, new job postings seek candidates with 15 years of experience, endless certs, etc.

There are no coincidences- was meant to be

Corporations will sack people and use AI and make more money. So governments will have to tax corporations more and people less, and use extra tax income to pay ubi. But unfortunately governments haven't learned to collaborate cross border (on anything), so corporations will tax dodge even harder. One global agreement needed to sort.

My grandmother always used to say, make sure you are always wearing clean underwear, as you never know when you might get hit by a bus! Never really got what she meant or who would care anyway if they had been hit by a bus. Least of your worries, surely. But maybe she was talking about the same thing as Miguel. Looking at the statue, they look like underpants to me. No coincidences. She was a wise old woman and knew a good metaphor.

Yeap just look at the legacy Ice car co. That he is running He is blah blah blah yelping about How Tesla is failing not using lidar but his company is falling backward instead of going forward. Stop Talking and start earning your keeps.
