Tesla went thru hell in first half of 2025!

The protests, the riots, teh factory shut downs, the line conversion, the ramp up and they still destroyed the competition. Tesla sold more Model Ys (155k) than all of the other non-Tesla EVs in the top 10 combined (124k).

Second half is about to go into high gear with FSD and Grok in cars.

Bestselling EVs in the U.S. in first half of 2025:

1) Tesla Model Y: 155,000

2) Tesla Model 3: 97,600

3) Chevrolet Equinox EV: 27,749

4) Ford Mustang Mach-E: 21,785

5) Hyundai Ioniq 5: 19,092

7) Ford F-150 Lightning: 13,029

8) BMW i4: 12,849

Was CT a flop considering such low numbers?

I hope this is not true... we need another political stunt from Elon to keep SP down. LT SH, TSLA employers, we will be given the gift eventually

None of this matters if we are to believe what we’ve been told that Tesla is ‘not a car company’. 🤷‍♂️

I just simply do not understand the cybertruck ( i love it and had a pre order ) ut decided to hold off bc i need to be smart and not lose in opportunity cost of owning a CT and not the stock! But i cannot wrap my head around this. 10k cybertrucks in the entire 1H 2025. Seems completely unbelievable with 2 million pre orders, those pre orders prior to release could not have been accurate. Just surprised bc the model S and X had way more orders when released with the plaids at 150k at release for years… 50% more than the CT

Kazar

Those Cybertruck sales numbers are pathetic. What a flop.

Per Grok: Tesla’s U.S. deliveries in H1 2025 were approximately 264,056–283,263 vehicles, compared to projected estimates of 250,000–320,000 vehicles. By model, Model Y (155,000 units) and Model 3 (97,600 units) performed close to expectations, while Model S/X (7,000–10,000 units) and Cybertruck (10,000–15,000 units) met or slightly underperformed projections. The shortfall in total deliveries reflects production challenges, increased competition, and external pressures like Musk’s political controversies and policy changes. For further details, Tesla’s Q2 2025 Earnings Call on July 23, 2025, may provide additional context on U.S. performance.

Hey guys I’d really like to learn more about leaps as I’d like to buy a Tesla leap. I obviously want to school myself up first though and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction to do so? Thanks a million. Cheers
